On Tuesday 28th April, Tamar Class welcomed an Anglo-Saxon warrior into their classroom and enjoyed an exciting workshop. The children learnt all about Alfred the Great and his defeat of the Vikings.

Then, they stepped into the role of archaeologists - digging up Anglo Saxon coins and learning about their significance. The children played a battle game and took part in a trail to find the Anglo Saxon Kings!

It was a fantastic workshop, full of hands-on learning that really brought their history topic to life!
